Alliance Recovery Center’s Athens clinic is located on Sycamore Drive in Clarke County, serving northeast Georgia. Clients travel to us from Winterville, Bogart, Watkinsville, Bishop, and the rest of Oconee County, along with Jefferson and Commerce in Jackson County, Danielsville in Madison County, Crawford and Lexington in Oglethorpe County, and Winder and Statham in Barrow County.

What treatment looks like here
Athens provides the same care as our Decatur and Conyers clinics: medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) — methadone or buprenorphine — paired with counseling and daily medical care.

You’re assigned a primary counselor at admission. Individual counseling is required; group counseling is optional but strongly encouraged, and groups run daily. Neither carries an additional cost. Medical services are available every day, and every client receives a comprehensive physical exam at admission and annually after, at no charge.

Cost and coverage
No admission fee, no transfer fee — only a per-day rate. We accept Georgia Medicaid and Original Medicare Part B along with several managed plans, plus cash and major credit cards. Current rates are on our pricing and insurance page.

Coming to Athens for a visit?
If you’re in town for a game, a graduation, or a weekend and you dose at another clinic, our Athens location offers guest dosing with 24 hours’ notice and a signed request from your home clinic’s physician.
